To light the room, four giltwood torchers carved with cranes were installed. They had formerly been used in the Crimson Drawing Room at Carlton House. The candelabra selected to stand on them were probably two pairs used for the same purpose at Carlton House, each pair with a faun or nymph holding six lights (RCIN 2694).
