Soft-paste Sèvres porcelain moutardier and spoon. Beau bleu ground decorated with tooled gilt foliate scrolls, floral wreaths, trails and crossed branches; oval reserves painted with scenes from classical Greek and Roman history and mythology. The reserve on the moutardier depicts the nymph Salmacis and Hermaphroditus.
