Bronze statue of Field Marshal Blücher, swathed in a cloak with his left foot resting on a broken mortar, holding a sword in his right hand. Standing on a plinth cast, above, winged Victory holding a cartouche with the inscription 'FRIEDERICH WILHELM III / DEM GENERAL FIELD MARSHALL / FÜRSTEN BLÜCHER / VON WAHLSTATT', [FRIEDERICK WILLIAM III / THE GENERAL FIELD MARSHALL /  PRINCE BLÜCHER VON WAHLSTATT].   Below, a frieze of trophies of war;  on the base, to the front the Field Marshal's coat of arms and, to the sides, recumbant and passant lions.

Also marked on the treestump on the left 'C.R.F.' [for Christian Daniel Rauch]
