NORMA BULL (1906-80)

The Chelsea Royal Hospital Infirmary, as destroyed by enemy action

1941

RCIN 453416

Norma Bull’s wartime subjects were principally bombed buildings; her large drawings give detailed accounts of the damage they suffered. The remains of the Chelsea Royal Hospital Infirmary, which was hit by enemy bombs in 1941, are here surveyed by a Chelsea Pensioner.
