The Circular Room, Carlton House.

The Circular Room was situated in the centre of the west front on the Principal Floor of Carlton House. It was used for entertaining and concerts. The room was decorated in a classical style, with large Ionic columns lining the walls. Its ceiling was painted to resemble the sky.

Acquired by King George VI, 1948
