Fan depicting 'Diana with nymphs at play'

As goddess of the hunt, Diana is identified by her bow and quiver, which she holds above her head. Attendant nymphs are shown firing arrows and unleashing the goddess’s hounds. The central scene of the fan leaf is based on a painting by Domenichino.
