The Queen visits Northern Ireland

The Queen is pictured with a young trainee at the Government Training Centre at Felden, Whitehouse. The Centre, which was established in 1945 for the resettlement of ex-servicemen, runs vocational courses in engineering, machine-operating, welding, radio and television servicing and advanced fitting. The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were given a tour of the Centre by the Rt Hon. Ivan Neill, MP, Minister of Labour and National Insurance.
