2012

RCIN 2509051

This portrait of The Queen, taken in the Centre Room at Buckingham Palace with the Victoria Memorial visible through the window, was released on 6 February 2012, the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty’s Accession to the throne. The Queen wears the Diamond Diadem, originally made for George IV in 1820, Garter Sash and Star, and Queen Victoria’s Collet Necklace – worn by Queen Victoria for her own official Diamond Jubilee photograph.
