This elegant image of the ‘Young Pretender’ was the official print made after Domenico Duprà’s oil portrait and was intended for circulation among Jacobite supporters in Britain. Daullé was royal engraver to Louis XV. He was responsible for the Prince’s head while his colleague Wille engraved the rest of the plate. Royal Collection by c.1900 Cat. 54
