A punch dagger or katar adapted to include two flintlock pistols on each side of the blade. The blade chiselled in the centre with a depiction of a cypress tree. The steel guards, grip and pistol barrels overlaid with gold in a floral pattern and the transverse grip of two bars and ends of the side grips inset with rubies and emeralds. This punch dagger was likely to have been designed as an example of the craftsman's skill and may not be as effective in combat as a traditional katar
