Hunting knife and scabbard

This finely decorated hunting knife is an example of the skill of craftsmen working in Zlatoust in the first quarter of the nineteenth century. The quality competes with the best work from Europe, and pieces of this type were used as gifts by Russian Emperors to demonstrate Russian skill, taste and refinement.
