After the Wedding Breakfast, the bride and groom rode in an open landau to Waterloo Station. From there they travelled by train to Polesden Lacey in Surrey, which had been lent to them by the Honourable Mrs Greville. Polesden Lacey was given to The National Trust in 1942.
