Sprig of artificial orange blossom from Princess Alexandra’s bridal wreath

1863

Wax | 7.5 x 6.4 cm (whole object) | RCIN 54331

Like the dress trimmings, the wreath holding her veil in place was made of wax orange blossom. Queen Victoria, the Princess’s mother-in-law, carefully preserved a sprig in this envelope.
