Learning how to draw and paint has formed a key part of the education of royal children. Many of the works created by the children of George III and Queen Charlotte, and of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, were presented as gifts for their parents at Christmas or birthdays.  This tradition continues to the present day.

The income from your ticket contributes directly to The Royal Collection Trust, a registered charity. The aims of The Royal Collection Trust are the care and conservation of the Royal Collection, and the promotion of access and enjoyment through exhibitions, publications, loans and educational activities.
