Over 100 masterpieces by Peter Carl Fabergé, the greatest Russian jeweller and goldsmith of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, went on display in a special exhibition at the 2011 Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace. Royal Fabergé explored how six successive generations of the British Royal Family, from Queen Victoria to Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, have shaped the finest collection of Fabergé in the world - unparalleled in size, range and quality.
