Quilt

A large grey quilt with a border of 18 applique roundels in polychrome with black borders depicting agricultural scenes, large central roundel harbour scene. The quilt was made by Mrs Doris Bushell of Wingham, Ontario, to commemorate the bi-centennial of Ontario. It was the winner from over 200 entries in a competition sponsored by the Canadian Ministry of Food and Agriculture specially to mark The Queen's visit in September 1984.
