Presenting Dame Judi Dench with the RSA Benjamin Franklin Medal

Prince Philip was appointed President of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) in 1952. The Benjamin Franklin medal is awarded to an individual who has made a positive contribution to Anglo-American relations. In 2000, Dame Judi Dench won the award for her contribution to the performing arts on both sides of the Atlantic.
