This manuscript contains the vocal score with piano accompaniment, composed by Elgar, to Masefield’s poem for the unveiling of the Queen Alexandra memorial. The score is written and signed in Elgar’s own hand. The actual performance was scored for and performed by a military band. Presented to King George V by Sir Edward Elgar, 1932
