The Coronation earrings

Diamonds, silver, gold | 4.5 cm (length) | RCIN 100004

These earrings were made for Queen Victoria in 1858 and consist of two non-matching drop-shaped pendants suspended from two large and two smaller diamond collets. The pendants were originally part of the setting of the Koh-i-nûr diamond. The earrings were worn at the successive coronations of Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth and The Queen.
