Made for Grand Duchess Vladimir of Russia, this tiara was sold by her daughter to Queen Mary in 1921. Inherited by The Queen in 1953, the tiara has been worn with its original pearl drops, without drop stones, and with the pendant emeralds seen in Dorothy Wilding’s portrait.
