    Wilding photographed The Queen in a head and shoulders pose as part of the 1956 sitting. In the event, the images were not used and the design for the new currency did not proceed. The 1956 sitting was her last with The Queen. Wilding’s prolific career ended in 1957 with her retirement and the sale of her studio.
