Two Tuck postcards and a Tuck envelope

These two prints of the Duchess of York with Princess Elizabeth are from sitting number 4423 taken on 5 July 1928. Several of the successful images were selected to be reproduced as postcards. These ‘charming studies from portraits by Marcus Adams’ were sold by Raphael Tuck & Sons Ltd in packets of six, and became very popular with the general public worldwide.
