Princess Anne, the second of Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s four children, was born in 1950. Prince Charles’s brothers Andrew and Edward followed in 1960 and 1964. Princess Anne and her elder brother were photographed by Antony Armstrong-Jones in 1956. He married The Queen’s sister, Princess Margaret, four years later and in 1961 was created the Earl of Snowdon.
