HENRY PIERCE BONE (1779-1855)

Bracelet with a miniature of Queen Victoria (1819-1901)

1839

RCIN 10915

This portrait was one of Queen Victoria's favourites for use as a gift to her closest friends and relatives, often within a setting which included diamonds for eternity, rubies for passion and a snake's head for wisdom. It is the finely engraved gold of the bracelet, however, which ensures the high quality of this piece.
