ZAHA HADID (1950-2016)

London Aquatics Centre

2012

RCIN 212739

A mixed media representation of a stylised view of the London Aquatics Centre, designed by Zaha Hadid for the 2012 Olympic Games. Signed, lower right. The London Aquatics Centre was conceived and built between 2005-11, with a seating capacity of 17500. The concept was inspired by the fluidity of water in motion, creating a building that was in sympathy with the river landscape of the Olympic park.
