Krishna and the Gopis play hide-and-seek, c. 1730-40

A companion painting to that on the opposite folio (46v) by the same artist, Krishna sits in a leafy bower playing hide-and-seek with a lady, possibly Radha, who walks away covering her eyes. The image has been cropped from a larger painting cutting out all but a corner of the roof of a pavilion on the right.
