On 27 February 1900 Princess Victoria went to Brighton for a holiday with her sister, Princess Louise, Duchess of Fife, who, with her husband and daughters, Lady Alexandra and Lady Maud Duff, was staying at 11, Chichester Terrace. During her stay, Princess Victoria took a number of snapshots in and near Brighton, probably using a No.2 Bull's-Eye Kodak camera. She returned with Princess Louise and family to London on 27 March.
