A rectangular silver photograph frame decorated with four translucent red enamel shields with the dates 8 April 1818; 25 Mai 1842; 15 Novb. 1863; 29 Jan. 1906. Contains a photograph of King Christian IX of Denmark in later life. He was the father of Queen Alexandra and the dates refer, in chronological order, to his birth, marriage, accession to the throne and death.
