This group of Prince Albert's two Jägers, McDonald and Cowley; his Head Keeper, Turner; and some of the other Keepers and Beaters, was taken at Windsor, in 1852, by Brunell, a Windsor photographer. Little is known of this photographer, however, he did take a number of daguerreotypes of the Royal children, Princess Helena, Princess Louise, Edward, Prince of Wales, Prince Alfred, in the same year as this photograph was taken.
