A drawing of the Bacino in Venice. In the centre is the Dogana and the church of Santa Maria della Salute. To the left is the Giudecca canal. On the Giudecca is the church of the Redentore, and at the far left, part of the church of San Giorgio Maggiore.

The drawing is very similar in size and style to that on the right, and trims the composition still further to take in only the buildings from Santa Maria della Salute to the Palazzo Ducale, Campanile and Prigioni. Moored in front of the Piazzetta is the Bucintoro, indicating that this is Ascension Day.
