KING GEORGE VI, KING OF THE UNITED KINGDOM (1895-1952)

Princess Elizabeth (b.1926) with lilies, 1929

1929

RCIN 2999926

Princess Elizabeth was photographed by her father, the future King George VI, standing in front of a group of lilies, probably Lilium giganteum. The photograph appears to have been taken at Glamis, the Duchess of York’s family home in Scotland. This particular photograph was exhibited by the Duke of York in the 1930 Kodak Exhibition of work by royal photographers.
