A pair of silver-gilt double-lidded box salts (spice boxes) of rectangular form with shaped rounded ends and central hinge; the lids are engraved with the coat of arms of William III and Mary II (1688/9) and WMR monograms. The salts stand on four curved legs with scroll feet.
