This sumptuous table in the Renaissance style is made of metal inlaid with gold and silver. It was made in the late nineteenth century but designed in the style of a sixteenth-century Spanish cabinet stand. It was acquired by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother for the Royal Collection in 1938.
