RCIN 2160128
This photograph shows the view of the rose garden at Balmoral which could be seen from Queen Victoria’s sitting room. This part of the garden contained two circular beds planted with roses and edged with violas. The edge of a fountain is visible in the foreground, and on the left-hand side a magnificent life-sized statue of a seated stag atop a granite block can be seen.
