This book is extremely rare among those owned by George III in that it contains notes in the king’s handwriting. It is a scientific book on the nutritional benefits of three different types of grass that were used to feed farm animals. These grasses were grown in the Great Park at Windsor, where the king was involved in monitoring farming improvements undertaken by his land agent, Nathaniel Kent.
