Presented to George IV when Prince Regent by Stamford Raffles, 10 May 1817. The ceremonial kris was given to Raffles by the Raja of Buleleng in Bali, who was on friendly terms with the British. Raffles illustrated this kris in his 1817 History of Java, which he dedicated to the Prince Regent.
