Algerian silver and partly gilt powder flask: bulbous wood body, long partly octagonal neck covered with silver mounts; the whole chased with foliate scrolls, palmettes and flowers; the body with central pierced band of flowers and circular reserves. Stopper held by chains with eight coral beads. The silver mounts stamped with Algerian control marks.
