Alver Tait (b. 1943) is a Hereditary Chief of the Eagle-Beaver (Laxsgiik) clan and a wood carver of the Nisga'a First Nations cultural group in British Columbia. His work includes totem poles in the Nass Valley of northern British Columbia. This eagle bowl may be a model feast bowl or ceremonial grease bowl. It was presented to The Queen by the City of Vancouver.
