Easter Sunday brings the promise of renewal and hope. For many this involves buying new clothes for the day’s celebrations. This bonnet may not have been worn on Easter Sunday, but it was very treasured by Queen Victoria. Curators think that it was a gift given to Victoria on her seventeenth birthday. Its flower and bird designs are made of feathers.
