This photograph shows HM The Queen when Princess Elizabeth, attending a tea party at the Royal College of Nursing. During this visit she was presented with a silver and enamel badge of the Student Nursing Association.

HM The Queen is the current patron of The Queen’s Nursing Institute, which was founded in 1887 during the reign of Queen Victoria.
