This vase features the same tavern scene as the cuvette à tombeau (displayed right) although here the green husk swags come across the top of the reserve. The two figures on the bench are from Teniers La quatrième fête flamande; the other figures have not been identified. First recorded in the Royal Collection at Carlton House in 1826.
