The Pinacoteca Nazionale in Bologna is examining the theme of the 'art of warfare' in the work of Leonardo, Michelangelo and Durer.  Two drawings by Leonardo da Vinci, both of which show preliminary designs for defensive buildings, are on loan from the Royal Collection until 7 January 2020.
