The Kunstpalast, Dusseldorf is presenting a major retrospective of the work of Enlightenment-era painter Angelica Kauffamn, one of two female founding members of the Royal Academy of Arts.

The three drawings being lent by Her Majesty The Queen from the Royal Library have never previously been on public display.  A significant number of the approximately 100 paintings, drawings and sculptures will be presented to the public for the first time. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Arts, London, where it will subsequently be shown in June.
