This exhibition is the first survey devoted to the work of the Delft master, Pieter de Hooch, that has ever been mounted in the Netherlands. The Museum Prinsenhof have brought together over 20 works to re-establish the importance of De Hooch, and bring him out from behind the shadow of his more famous contemporary, Johannes Vermeer.

Two paintings from the Royal Collection included in the exhibition are outstanding examples of the artist's close attention to the fall of light and his mastering of perspective. These will be on display until February 2020.
