Building upon the important nucleus of works by Sir Anthony van Dyck in the Galleria Sabauda, this exhibition is devoted to an exploration of Van Dyck as a court painter. On loan from Her Majesty The Queen is Van Dyck's portrait of The Three Eldest Children of Charles I which will be shown alongside a painting of the same subject by Van Dyck, commissioned in 1635 by Queen Henrietta Maria for her sister, The Duchess of Savoy.
