The special exhibition at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire this summer celebrates man and woman's best friend through the medium of art. The loan from the Royal Collection includes several models of royal dogs made by the Fabergé workshop in the early twentieth century, Prince Albert's gift to his wife Queen Victoria of a large silver-gilt centrepiece featuring their dogs, and photographs showing Queen Victoria with a favourite collie, Sharp, and Edward VII with his loyal terrier Caesar. On display until 6th October.
