After a major restoration project, the Sala delle Asse, a room painted by Leonardo in the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, reopens to the public 500 years after the artist's death.  During conservation work, fascinating insights into the artist's technique have come to light, which will will be examined in this complementary exhibition which explores the artist's lifelong commitment to the study of nature.  Her Majesty The Queen has lent four drawings by Leonardo in the Royal Collection, and two drawings by artists inspired by the master draftsman.
