Large porcelain vase with flared lip, scrolled handles all on sq metal plinth. Body painted in gilt & blue. Circular reserve on front with image of winged Victory wearing purple dress & holding 2 laurel wreaths. Neck painted with trophies
Provenance
Part of a garniture presented to Queen Victoria in honour of the baptism of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales by his godfather, King Frederick William IV. The baptism took place at Windsor on 25 January 1842.
