Princess Victoria watched The Sleeping Beauty on 21 February 1833 at Drury Lane Theatre. In her journal entry of that day, the young Princess describes Duvernay as being "a very nice person; she has a very fine figure and dances beautifully, so quietly and so gracefully". -
