A volume containing 76 pen and ink drawings after the reliefs on Trajan's Column (RCIN 907918-907993); brown morocco binding with decorative gold tooling on both boards and the spine; with the emblem of George III on both boards. With a title page inscription: I DISEGNI ORIGINALI / DELLA COLONNA TRAIANA / FATTI DA PIETRO SANTI BARTOLI / I NUMERI CORRESPONDONO / A NUMERI DELLE STAMPE / PUBLICATE DA GIOVANNI PIETRO BELLORI.
Preparatory drawings to the etchings by Bartoli with contributions by Giovanni Pietro Bellori, published in 1672 by Giovanni Giacomo de' Rossi. A number corresponding to related print is inscribed on each folio and drawing. A bound copy of the etchings is in the Royal Collection, RCIN 809153.
